ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – Cheyenna Ames is fighting cystic fibrosis, but she is also fighting to meet her idol, Taylor Swift.
“She is just amazing and it is a dream to meet her,” she said. “The last time she was here I was too sick to go.”
Taylor Swift will be performing at the Scottrade Center Monday and Tuesday. Cheyenna has tickets already, but is hoping to meet Taylor Swift at the concert.

She posted a YouTube video aimed at getting Taylor Swift’s attention. It’s been viewed more than 1,000 times.
“I also posted it to bring attention to my disease,” she said. “It makes it hard for me to breathe, so that is the song I used on the video.”
Cheyenna spends a lot of time in the hospital.
“I have been here now for about three weeks straight, but I will be well enough to go to the concert,” she said. “Last time she was here I was too sick to go.”
Her doctor’s told FOX2 that people with cystic fibrosis usually only live into their late thirties, but Cheyenna said she does not let that get her down.
The nurses at the hospital plan to help her get ready for the concert on Monday.
“I have my white dress and some pretty boots,” she said. “I am excited and hope I can meet her too.”
